Following in the footsteps of the legendary Togo sofa, French designer Michel Ducaroy created the Saparella collection in 1965. Emblematic of cocoon furniture, these upholstered seats with no hard points revolutionized the codes of bourgeois furniture in the 70s. Michel Ducaroy's foam seats quickly won over critics and the public alike.
