Description

The intentionally simple design of the industrial-style Melrose desk by Tectake is perfect for concentrated and creative work. The desk's practical corner construction, the freely movable monitor attachment stand on the table surface and the large amount of legroom contribute to the distinct feel-good atmosphere of this easy-care piece of office furniture. Use the six height-adjustable feet to compensate for uneven floors and guarantee excellent stability. Visually, the minimalist construction scores with the stylish grain in a warm wood look and the cool frame made of black steel, which together contribute towards a successful contrast. The large L-shaped desk provides space to store and access documents whilst you network and complete tasks on your laptop, all from the privacy and comfort of your own home office. Make use of your office space and time with the Melrose desk from tectake.

Our Stylist Says

The Corner Desk Melrose is a fantastic choice for adding a functional yet stylish workspace, especially in rooms where space is limited. I love its industrial dark finish, which lends a contemporary, slightly rugged vibe that pairs well with modern or urban interiors. It works particularly well in open-plan areas, home offices, or even cafés looking to create an edgy aesthetic. For styling tips, consider pairing it with minimalist storage solutions or adding a few statement accessories like a metal desk lamp or vintage stationery to enhance the industrial feel. Its corner design maximises space efficiently, making it ideal for smaller rooms or for creating a dedicated work zone without cluttering your main living area.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
