£229
Price History
Description
A Corby wall light in an aged brass finish featuring a textured sand-cast aluminium oval frame with ribbed detailing and a naturally veined 5-inch alabaster globe. Designer note: We designed the Corby range around the contrast between raw material character and refined form. The sand-cast metal preserves the texture and subtle irregularities of the making process while naturally veined alabaster introduces softness and delicacy. On the Oval Wall Light the rounded alabaster globe sits within a deep elongated frame bringing together bold geometric forms and considered proportions inspired by mid-century design. Dimensions: 25.5 cm x 12.8 cm x 8.5 cm Weight: 1.4 kg IP Rating: IP44 - suitable for bathrooms and wet areas The alabaster stone contains natural veining which is unique to each piece the shade is carved from. Some shades contain prominent dark veining while others are more pure white. Every alabaster shade is unique.
Our Stylist Says
I love this wall light for its blend of vintage charm and modern minimalism. The aged brass finish adds warmth and character, making it a versatile piece that works well in both contemporary and classic interiors. It's particularly suited to cosy hallways, bedrooms, or small accent spaces where a subtle yet stylish glow is desired. For practical styling tips, consider pairing it with textured wall coverings or matte finishes to emphasise its industrial roots. When installing, position it at eye level or just above to optimise its ambient light, and consider using a warm bulb to enhance the aged brass tone and create a welcoming atmosphere.
