Description
This large illuminated sculpture is brought to life by graceful movements creating a shifting balance of light, a bit like a mobile. The Copérnica floor lamp is created from a sleek assembly of elementary shapes (disc, tubes, hemisphere). It cast a functional, adjustable light. Its long pendulum arm (L 104. 6 cm) ends on one side with an aluminium LED diffuser, and on the other with a steel disc serving as a counterweight. The long, tilting arm can rotate at 365°. Its hi-tech joint holds the arm perfectly stable in any position. It has a movable diffuser, and is equipped with a sensor-controlled dimmer: simply touch it to change the intensity of the light (3 levels). The lamp casts a powerful, non-dazzling LED light.
