Description

The luminary Michael Anastassiades presents his latest invention for Flos: the Coordinates S1 Pendant Light in a breathtaking champagne-hued finish. Initially commissioned for the dining area in New York's historic Four Seasons Restaurant, the dimmable light infuses extruded aluminium with optical silicone diffusers for a grid-like structure of horizontal and vertical elements, easily adaptable to all environments. Designer of the Year at MAISON&OBJET January 2020, Michael Anastassiades's philosophy is to produce exceptionally designed objects of permanent value. The light master's work features in permanent collections at the MoMA, the V&A and the MAK, communicating a sense of eclecticism, individuality and timelessness.

Our Stylist Says

I love the way this pendant light introduces a modern yet subtle touch of sophistication with its anodised champagne finish. It works well in both contemporary and minimalist interiors, adding an element of understated luxury. Practical styling tips include hanging it over dining tables or kitchen islands for focused task lighting, or using it as a statement piece in a high-ceiling living space. Its clean lines and elegant colour make it versatile enough to pair with a range of colour palettes and materials, from muted tones to richer textures. To get the best effect, consider layering with complementary lighting or using dimmable bulbs to adjust the ambiance.
