Description

The luminary Michael Anastassiades presents his latest invention for Flos: the Coordinates C1 Ceiling Light in a breathtaking champagne-hued finish. Initially commissioned for the dining area in New York's historic Four Seasons Restaurant, the dimmable light infuses extruded aluminium with optical silicone diffusers for a grid-like structure of horizontal and vertical elements, easily adaptable to all environments. Designer of the Year at MAISON & OBJET January 2020, Michael Anastassiades's philosophy is to produce exceptionally designed objects of permanent value. The light master's work features in permanent collections at the MoMA, the V & A and the MAK, communicating a sense of eclecticism, individuality and timelessness.

Our Stylist Says

I love the way the C1 ceiling light adds a sleek, contemporary touch thanks to its anodised champagne finish. It works particularly well in modern or minimal interiors where subtle metallic accents can elevate the overall look. The clean, geometric design makes it versatile for different spaces such as kitchens, dining areas, or even bedrooms. For styling, consider pairing it with warm-toned decor to complement the champagne hue, or keep surroundings simple for a sophisticated, understated effect. Practical tip: installing it at different heights across a room can create an interesting visual dynamic, especially in open-plan spaces.
