This oak lamp table works well in almost any room, lending an additional surface for supporting a lamp, decorative sculpture or even as a telephone table. I’m a fan of this little oak console for its clean lines and solid storage - the single drawer keeps entryways clutter-free while the lower shelf is perfect for a woven basket or a neat pile of books. It works just as well in a Scandi-inspired hallway as it does in a modern farmhouse living room. To style, hang a round mirror above, place a slim table lamp and a couple of slimline vases on top, then tuck a textured basket or pair of notebooks on the shelf for interest without overcrowding.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
