Description

Spice up your home with the sleek Kilkenny console table from tectake. Its upper shelf is made of glass, showing off the oak-look shelf below, plus the black powder-coated steel frame gives the narrow hallway table a clearly defined frame. The two shelves and clear floor space provide easy-access storage and a clear view of all your items. The construction, designed in classic industrial chic, fits in any modern kitchen, living room or hallway. Despite the choice of high-contrast materials, the minimalist design of the furniture opens up almost unlimited combination of possibilities a furnishing idea with a strong character the remarkable Kilkenny console table from tectake.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Kilkenny console for its slim, industrial frame and warm ash-effect shelf - it slots easily into narrow hallways or behind a sofa without feeling bulky. The steel surround gives enough contrast to work equally well in pared-back Scandi-style schemes or more rugged loft-inspired rooms. Styling is straightforward: lean a round mirror above it, group a couple of ceramics or a small plant on the top and use the lower shelf for leather-strap storage boxes or a neat stack of coffee-table books. In an entryway you can swap baskets below for clutter control or pop a slim runner rug underneath to anchor the look.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
