This contemporary dining set from Connubia strikes the perfect balance between striking and elegant. The dramatic black marbled ceramic dining table extends to seat 12. Made in Italy. Why you'll love it Contemporary design, high performance, seamless finish. By Connubia, mastercrafters of modern Italian furniture. Beautifully crafted dining set brings together striking finishes and on-trend tones. Dining table has a dramatic black and gold marble-effect ceramic top and wooden legs. High-precision rotating extension mechanism produces an extra leaf from the table. Seats up to 12. Extended or closed, table legs stay at the corners for the comfort of your guests. Designed to be enjoyed every day – ceramic is exceptionally hardwearing. This dining set includes 4 dining chairs with on-trend ski-style legs. Chairs are upholstered in lightly distressed faux leather in a choice of colour. Made in Italy. This dining set is part of the Connubia Viola range. What you need to know Chairs are cushioned with foam and have metal legs. Table top is made of ceramic coupled to glass. Wooden frame and legs. Extra large 220 cm dining table seats 10, and 12 when extended. When this table is extended, there will be a very small gap between the extra leaf and the table top. Ceramic finish is highly resistant to scratches, impact, heat and chemical substances. Not 100% heatproof. Please use coasters and placemats at all times. Easy to care for. Simply wipe with a clean damp cloth.
I’m a fan of the Viola extending table and Maya chairs for their mix of robust materials and clean lines. The Calacatta-effect ceramic top is hard-wearing and easy to wipe down, while the graphite legs add a touch of industrial chic. It works particularly well in open-plan and contemporary spaces - try pairing it with muted rugs and slim-lined sideboards to keep the look light. For styling, keep centrepieces low and sculptural (think concrete bowls or a set of ceramic vases) so sightlines stay clear when you’re entertaining. If you’re using the extension regularly, choose chairs in complementary tones - perhaps a charcoal leather or slate-grey fabric - to tie the palette together without overwhelming the room.
