I’m a big fan of the Riley chairs for their blend of soft, mid-grey upholstery and slim metal legs - they strike a nice balance between comfort and an industrial edge. They suit contemporary open-plan kitchens as well as pared-back Scandi schemes, where their neutral tone lets you layer in natural wood and black-metal accents without overpowering the room.
Styling tip: team them with a reclaimed oak table and a muted wool runner to warm up the metal, then add a few textured earthenware pieces on the tabletop to echo the chair fabric. In smaller nooks you could even swap every other seat for a contrasting hue or pattern to introduce subtle visual interest.
