Born in Cornwall, artist Hannah Ludnow looks to Cornishcoastlines, light, and the relationship between emotion and memoryto create her ethereal, dream-like and abstracted paintings. Eachone aims to bring a sense of peace and tranquillity to both theviewer and the space in which it resides. 'I hope to build an atmosphere in a painting which draws you in andallows you to imagine yourself there, stood on a cliff, a beach orbehind the dunes, exposed to the elements and the unpredictabilityof nature,' she says.
