Description
An iconic design by Eero Saarinen, this take on the Conference Chair awards it Knoll's luxe Colorado Sand upholstery and elegant ebonised walnut venner legs. Introduced in the 1950s and revolutionising the notion of what executive seating could be, the chair's simple, semi-circular shaping and a streamlined silhouette provided uncomplicated comfort. Its contemporary style is accented by the tactile Colorado Sand upholstery; a delightful wool-mohair-polyamide blend. Eero Saarinen was born into the design world, with his father Eliel working as the Director of the Cranbrook Academy of Art and his mother Loja a world-famous textile designer, but Eero is best known today for his neo-futuristic style and working closely with Knoll, which still exclusively produces his pieces.
