I’m a fan of this oak console for its clean lines and genuine wood grain - it brings warmth without feeling bulky. The two slim drawers are ideal for stashing keys or mail in a hallway, while the broad top is perfect for a lamp, a small plant and a statement piece of art or mirror above.
It suits a range of schemes from Scandi-modern to relaxed country and even minimalist urban flats. To style, keep the top grouping to three items of varying heights (think a low tray, a mid-sized vase, a taller lamp) and add woven baskets beneath for extra storage. A simple runner rug and a round mirror overhead will complete a practical, uncluttered look.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
