I’m a fan of this oak sideboard for its clean lines and warm, natural grain - perfect if you want storage that doesn’t dominate the room. The matt black handles add a subtle contrast, making it equally at home in a Scandi-inspired living area or a modern farmhouse dining room.
To style it, keep the surface clutter-free: anchor a round mirror above and flank with low vases or a statement table lamp. Inside, use matching baskets or fabric bins to organise linens, board games or spare crockery. In a hallway, it doubles as a drop-zone - just add a slim tray for keys and a shallow dish for mail.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
