A true design icon, the famous Componibili is adorned with vibrant, deep and elegant new colors: Burgundy, Dove grey, Sky blue, Mauve and Orange. It was in 1968 that designer Anna Castelli Ferreri, wife of the founder of Kartell, created the famous Componibili. This molded plastic cylinder with its sober, functional lines is a symbol of the breakthrough in design that took place in the 1960s. Pop, democratic, accessible, daring, practical, modular: this small piece of furniture fully meets the needs of a new society taking shape. The Componibili was soon to enjoy growing success thanks to its extreme functionality. Compact and versatile, it fits into any room in the house, on the Earth or on a piece of furniture. It can be used as a bedside table in the bedroom, an end table in the living room, a small storage unit in the bathroom or kitchen, or as a stool if required...Produced for almost half a century, the Componibili has established itself over the decades as a true design classic. Winner of numerous awards, it is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
