In 1968, designer Anna Castelli Ferreri, wife of the Kartell founder, created the famous Componibili. This moulded plastic cylinder with its understated and functional lines is a symbol of the revolution in design that occurred in the 1960's. Pop, democratic, accessible, daring, practical, modular: this little module fully meets the needs of the new society that was emerging. The Componibili was soon a success thanks to its extreme functionality.
