Leather stretches, softens and settles with use. When you sit on a new leather sofa or chair it’s normal for the leather to ‘puddle’ slightly due to initial stretching. A simple smoothing of the leather across the top of the seat cushion if this occurs keeps your sofa or chair looking good. Interiors settle over time so, to maximise comfort, please plump the seat and back cushions regularly, and – where possible – turn and rotate to ensure even wear.
