Description

Our Colton metal dining chairs (pair of 2) are stackable, stylish and made of steel. We love versatile dining room furniture and these are just the ticket. Our take on the classic Tolix mid century chair design created for commercial seating at restaurants, these chairs are designed to be comfy to sit on for longer periods, are lightweight, durable and easy to move around. They perfectly capture that laid back bistro cafe vibe and will look fab in your Industrial style kitchen or dining area. The simple solid colour will also suit more sleek minimalist modern home styles, or add some contrast to a bold scheme. Constructed from hard-wearing steel, powder coated in semi-glossy finish, with non-slip pads to the feet. We offer these dining room chairs in a range of colours, and in matching bar stool options too, so check out the full Colton range.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of these black Tolix-style chairs for their hard-wearing steel frame and stackable design - they’re as practical as they are stylish. They work especially well in industrial or Scandi-inspired kitchens and dining areas, but also add a crisp, modern edge to country-cottage or urban-loft schemes. Styling tips: group them round a reclaimed-wood table for contrast, then soften the look with simple seat pads in muted tones. Their slim profile means they don’t overwhelm small spaces, and you can easily stack and store extras when they’re not in use.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
