Description

The bed is constructed using solid pine for increased stability and sturdiness. The coating not only gives a great look it also protects the wooden frame. The Colonial bed features a turned wooden spindled headboard which matches the four legs and finials in the corners. The low foot end creates a greater sense of space in your bedroom. There is also a gap beneath the bed perfect for storing items you don't want on display. (The matching underbed drawers are available and sold separately) The solid slatted base gives firmer support to your mattress. The bed does come flat packed but can be easily assembled using the easy-to-follow instructions provided.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bed frame for its classic, timeless appeal and sturdy craftsmanship. The pine spindle design adds a subtle traditional touch, making it versatile enough to work in both vintage-inspired and more contemporary interiors. It pairs particularly well with neutral tones and natural fibres for a relaxed, cosy look, or can be styled against bold colour schemes for a striking contrast. Practical styling tips include adding layered bedding and textured throws to soften its sturdy frame, or accessorising with vintage bedside tables and lamps for a charming, understated bedroom. Its robust build provides a great foundation for various decorating styles, making it a flexible choice for many interiors.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
