Our Stylist Says
The big draw of the Collingdale jumbo cord sofa in cream is its timeless appeal and durability. The chunky cord texture adds a room-friendly, cosy feel that works beautifully in both modern and traditional interiors. It’s great for relaxed living spaces where comfort is key, and its neutral cream shade makes it versatile enough to pair with colour-rich cushions or monochrome decor. For styling tips, I recommend layering with textured throw blankets or patterned cushions to create visual interest, and pairing it with wooden or metal accent pieces for an understated, contemporary touch. Its sturdy fabric also makes it practical for family homes or busy households, offering both comfort and longevity.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
