Description
Designed with families in mind, the Colin charcoal fabric 4 seater sofa is a relaxed design with soft, plump seat and back cushions. The sofa's slender arms mean the design offers more seat space for its dimensions, while its hard-wearing fabric covers cope easily with the demands of everyday life. The sofa comes with 2 matching scatter cushions and a Colin charcoal 2 seater sofa is also available.
Our Stylist Says
The sofa in charcoal fabric offers a versatile, modern look that works well in both contemporary and more relaxed interiors. I love its neutral tone, which acts as a blank canvas for adding colour through accessories like cushions, throws, or artwork. Its clean lines and compact design make it ideal for smaller living rooms or open-plan spaces, creating a cosy yet uncluttered feel. For styling tips, pair it with textured textiles or warm wood accents to add warmth, or keep it sleek with crisp, monochrome decor. This piece is especially good for layering with different tones and materials, ensuring your space remains inviting and stylish without overwhelming the room.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
