The Colfax is one of our most popular and best selling suites. This is the manually operated reclining armchair. The recline function is released by a handle on the right arm of the chair. The footrest then extends - keeping the chair in an upright position - to allow you to relax in comfort. Further recline is completely variable as you relax back into the chair. The chair is supportive whilst comfortable - a perfect addition to your home to help you relax!All fillings and coverings meet or exceed UK safety regulations

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
