Description
JVL’s latex coir mats are designed for durability, functionality, and sustainability. Crafted from 100% natural coir and natural latex, these mats utilise renewable resources to deliver premium quality. The mechanically twisted coir reduces shedding, while the latex backing reduces the risk of slipping and helps the mat stay flat to the floor with no curling edges. Offering excellent scraping and absorbs water, meaning these mats help keep floors cleaner for longer. Suitable for all weather and versatile for indoor or outdoor use, they are a sustainable choice that combines practicality with eco-friendly biodegradability. The 'Home Hearts' design adds a warm touch to the mat, making it a charming addition to your home. Ideal for use at the door, porch, greenhouse, shed, conservatory, patio, or anywhere you like, it combines style with practicality. This doormat is 100% biodegradable—when you’ve finished with the mat, the natural coir will disintegrate within a year, while the latex backing breaks down within five years, depending on soil conditions making it an eco-friendly choice for your home. Plus, there is a matching patio mat available too.
Our Stylist Says
I love this coir doormat set because of its practicality and classic look. The natural coir fibres are durable and great for trapping dirt, making it ideal for high-traffic entrances. The latex backing ensures it stays in place, which is always a plus for safety. Its neutral brown tone with black edging lends itself well to both traditional and contemporary schemes, especially in homes with earthy, rustic, or minimalist interiors. For styling, it works best when paired with simple outdoor accessories or natural materials like wood or stone, and it can be a great finishing touch for welcoming entrances without detracting from the overall aesthetic. Just keep in mind that coir can be rough underfoot, so it’s best positioned where guests are expected to wipe their shoes or boots.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
