Description
Italian-Danish designer duo Gam. Fratesi have created the DETOUR coffee table with retro charm and art déco accents. This elegant coffee table offers a stunning combination of colours and materials. The Vienna straw - a material particularly appreciated by the Wiener GTV Design brand - is the determining element of the project. The Détour coffee table is characterised by its incredible decorative panels in straw canework, giving it a big personality. These two panels lightly frame the two black, lacquered wood surfaces, partially concealing the storage contents. The canework panels are surrounded by a curved beech frame that is extended to form the legs. Gilded brass end pieces add a sophisticated dimension to the look. Rich materials, high standards of quality, exceptional finishes and an original form, all wonderfully characteristic of the Wiener GTV Design spirit. Drawing on the tradition and way of thinking of Michael Thonet, Wiener GTV Design develops products rooted in an innovative, meticulous design process. A team of designers, creators and artisans produces unique products of exceptional craftsmanship. Product sustainability is at the centre of the development process.
