Our Stylist Says
I really like this feature bed because of its plush velvet finish and vibrant turquoise colour, which can serve as a statement piece in both contemporary and eclectic interiors. It’s ideal for creating a luxurious, boutique hotel vibe or adding a pop of colour to a neutral scheme. To style it effectively, pair it with layered bedding in muted tones or subtle patterns to balance the boldness of the velvet. Incorporating metallic accents or mirrored bedside tables can elevate the look, while keeping the overall space balanced ensures the bed remains the focal point. This piece works particularly well in bedrooms with soft lighting and minimal clutter, emphasising its tactile and colour qualities.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
