Description
A versatile, space-saving clothes rail designed for flexible daily organisation without the need for a full wardrobe. Built with a heavy-duty black metal frame featuring an X-brace structure for enhanced stability, it supports a total load of up to 40 kg across its two hanging levels and top grid shelf. The upper hanging rod (84.5 cm) accommodates long coats and dresses, while the lower rod (70.4 cm) is ideal for shirts, blouses, and trousers. A fixed bottom shelf provides extra storage for baskets, folded garments, or shoes, and the top grid shelf can hold luggage, hampers, or storage boxes. Four smooth-rolling, lockable casters allow effortless repositioning between bedroom, laundry room, or entryway—without scratching floors. Practical side features include a wire mesh panel with integrated S-hooks for hats, scarves, or small bags, and a right-side horizontal bar with three J-hooks for belts, ties, or accessories. The powder-coated finish ensures durability and resistance to scratches and rust, making it suitable for humid environments. Tool-free assembly takes approximately 5 minutes, enabling immediate use. Ideal for compact living spaces, studio apartments, or as a temporary wardrobe solution during renovations or moves.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
