The Clio is a classic tub chair design and is perfect for putting additional seating into your home or business. The chair is constructed from solid hardwood - foam covered for comfort - and covered in a sleek, easy to maintain velvet upholstery which is available in a stunning array of colours. The seat is thick, comfortable and removable for ease of cleaning. The chair will also be supplied with both light and dark wooden legs to allow you to customise the design to best suit your decor.

I’m a fan of the Clio chair’s compact, curved shape and button-tufted back - it brings subtle texture without dominating the space. The dark grey fabric and light oak legs work equally well in Scandinavian, mid-century or industrial-leaning interiors, and the neutral tone makes it an easy match for bolder art or accent pieces. For practical styling, position it next to a slim side table and introduce a contrasting cushion in ochre or cream to lift the palette. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
