I’m a fan of this light-grey five-drawer chest for its clean lines and adaptable finish - it slips effortlessly into Scandi, coastal or modern-classic schemes. The five drawers give you practical storage for linens, clothes or paperwork, while the shallow top row is perfect for smaller bits and bobs.
Styling tip: keep the top surface uncluttered with a low vase, a small tray for daily essentials and a round mirror hung above to balance the chest’s linear form. To make it pop against the pale finish, layer in a textured runner or a couple of framed prints on one side and a sculptural lamp on the other.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
