Description
This environmentally conscious collection of recycled glassware creates a better impact on the earth and in your home. Utilising raw materials from the tourist waste industry which are then crafted into beautiful glassware in a fair trade workshop in Zanzibar, this collection helps to support the local community in creating jobs that empower women. Approx. H24 x Diameter 7cm. Made from upcycled glass from empty wine bottles. Bottles are collected from local bars, restaurants and hotels in Zanzibar and cut by the craftspeople into different shapes and sizes. The edges are then sanded down first with a sander and then by hand to ensure quality control. The entire production process uses simple traditional tools. Promotes jobs and income for rural communities. Certified by the WTFO and Earth and People Friendly. Dishwasher safe. We recommend handwashing prior to initial use with warm soapy water. The product can be recycled. Due to the handcrafted nature of the design, the colour, size and finish will vary.

About Graham & Green
The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand
In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.
The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.
Evolution through Generations
Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.
They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.
Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.
Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.
Milestones and Memories
Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.
They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
