Description

Exquisitely handcrafted in India by a team of skilled artisans, our Classic Mother of Pearl Inlay chest of drawers is crafted from sustainable mango wood and individual pieces of mother of pearl have been lovingly hand-carved and fixed into grey resin to create a beautiful floral design. Featuring six wide drawers, it's a G&G classic.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this piece because of its classic white finish and the Mother of Pearl accents, which add a subtle luxe touch without overpowering a space. It works particularly well in traditional or transitional interiors, but can also shine in more contemporary settings when paired with sleek accessories or minimalist decor. Practical styling tips include keeping the top clear with just a few statement pieces like candles or a vase, allowing the intricate details to stand out. Its neutral palette makes it versatile for bedrooms or living rooms, providing ample storage while maintaining an elegant aesthetic.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
