The Clair de Lune Collection is made from solid Bayur wood, an indigenous and sustainable mahogany from Indonesia that grows in regulated and certified forests to ensure responsible foresting practices. The Clair de Lune bed features a softly curved solid wood headboard and footboard, a subtle reference to the curves of female form characterised in French furniture, these gentle curves lend a romantic softness to the solid wood. The corners of the bed depict carvings that emulate ornamental French silk tassels, and the deep side rails have top and base border carvings, giving a considered finish to even the unseen elements of the bed. The bed comes complete with four acorn corner finials which are removable and interchangeable with medium and tall finials (purchased separately) allowing you to change the overall appearance and stature of the bed according to your mood, your décor or your guests.
