I’m a big fan of the Valencia coffee table for its architectural base and clear glass top - it feels light underfoot yet still makes a strong focal point. Its gently undulating form works brilliantly in contemporary or minimalist schemes, as well as more eclectic spaces that welcome a sculptural accent.
To style it, keep surrounding furniture low-profile and in neutral tones so the base can really speak for itself. A simple marble or brass tray with a couple of well-chosen accessories (think a single ceramic vase or a small stack of art books) will add interest without cluttering the design.
