I’m a fan of the Granger chair for its clean lines and soft oval back, which bring just the right balance of formality and comfort to a dining or dressing area. The dark, tapered legs and neutral upholstery suit both classic and contemporary schemes, and you can easily layer a textured cushion or fur throw for extra depth.
Styling tip: place two either side of a slim console in a hallway to introduce seating without overwhelming the space, or mix four around a round table and inject a pop of colour with a patterned rug beneath. Its versatile proportions mean it won’t dominate a room, yet it still reads as a considered, refined piece.
