Splendid nightstand/side-table embellished with hand-carved ripple detailing and the signature Christopher Guy knot, and with a practical glass base for books or personal items. The ripple effect was spotted by Chris on an old wall in a disused Harrods staircase.

I’m a fan of this little side table for its neat mix of fluted wood and slim metal legs - it brings texture without overwhelming a space. It works well in modern, Art Deco or pared-back contemporary schemes, and its single drawer is ideal for stashing everyday clutter in a hallway or home office.
For styling, I’d keep the top clear enough to showcase a statement lamp or sculptural vase, then add a couple of coffee-table books and a small plant. The lower shelf is perfect for a woven basket or a row of matching boxes, which helps keep the look clean and balanced.
