‘Pop Art’ was from Christopher Farr Cloth's first passementerie collection, created in collaboration with Kit Kemp. The design draws inspiration from her travels and the textiles she loves. The design showcases the creative craftsmanship of handmade Indian embroideries, with the skilled craftswomen of Kerala responding to Kit’s design and applying their own creative interpretation. Cushion panels are cut at random from the fabric. If you have a specific cushion placement in mind, we offer a bespoke service to ensure the desired section of the pattern is highlighted. Please note that this may impact pricing and delivery lead times. We recommend contacting us before placing your order to discuss your request. This cushion is custom made to order and there is a 2 week lead-time, please contact us to enquire.
I love this cushion for its playful pop art vibe, which adds a modern and energetic touch to a space. The pale blue colour is versatile, making it suitable for both contemporary and more relaxed, coastal interiors. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to introduce colour without overwhelming the space. For styling, consider pairing it with neutral-toned sofas or beds, letting the graphic design be the focal point. Mixing it with other textiles that have subtle patterns or textures can create a layered look, especially in casual or eclectic schemes. This cushion is a great choice for anyone looking to inject personality into their decor, while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic.
