Description

Create a winter wonderland in your home with our Christmas Winter Snow Throw in Red and Grey. This throw features a charming snowflake design that captures the magic of the season. Our Stylist Says

I love this Christmas winter snow throw for its cosy, festive look and versatile colour palette. The red and grey scheme makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors, from traditional holiday schemes to more modern, minimalist spaces. It works particularly well layered over a plain cotton or linen sofa or bedspread, adding warmth and seasonal charm without overwhelming the existing décor. Practical styling tips include draping it casually over armchairs or sofas for an inviting vibe, or folding it neatly at the foot of the bed for a holiday-ready finish. Its festive pattern also makes it a great accessory for seasonal gatherings or cosy movie nights in during the colder months.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
