Sweet and festive designs to add to your holiday decor with the Christmas Candy Cane Cushion in Cream. This cushion features a charming candy cane design in a soft cream hue, adding a playful and delightful atmosphere to your living space. Our Stylist Says

The Christmas Candy Cane Cushion in cream is a charming addition that adds festive cheer without overwhelming the space. I love its subtle colour palette and playful pattern, which can easily complement both traditional and contemporary interiors. It works particularly well in cosy living rooms or guest bedrooms, paired with neutral or muted tones to let the red and grey details stand out. For practical styling, consider layering it with other textured cushions for a relaxed look, or using it as a seasonal accent on a neutral sofa or bed. Its versatile design makes it a great way to introduce a touch of holiday spirit while maintaining a clean, stylish aesthetic.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
