Our Stylist Says
I love this cheeky chimp reading the newspaper - it adds a touch of humour and personality to any space. This artwork works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic interiors, where it can serve as a statement piece. Its grey tones make it versatile, pairing nicely with neutral palettes or in more colourful schemes for a quirky contrast. Practical styling tips include framing it simply to let the image stand out, and hanging it at eye level in living rooms or studies where the humour can be appreciated. It also works well in a casual sitting area or a creative workspace, offering a playful yet sophisticated detail.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
