I’m a fan of the Chilham wardrobe for its clean shaker lines and neutral paintwork topped with a natural oak surface - an ideal fit for Scandi, coastal or modern farmhouse schemes. It offers generous hanging space behind its double doors and a bottom drawer that’s perfect for extra bedding or seasonal clothing.
To style it, try placing a woven basket or a pair of simple ceramic vases on the oak top to echo the natural wood-tones, then hang matching wooden or brass hooks inside for scarves and hats. Pair with soft-textured rugs and linen curtains to keep the look light, or introduce darker accents in cushions and throws for a little contrast.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
