The Chesterfield Divan Bed Base with Floor Standing Upholstered Headboard combines luxury design with durable support. Its solid platform top base offers a firm, stable surface for your mattress, delivering better orthopaedic support compared to slatted frames. Expertly crafted in the UK from quality timber and upholstered in plush velvet fabric, it adds a refined touch to both classic and modern bedrooms. The matching upholstered 54"/137cm Chesterfield headboard features deep cushioned panels with hand-tufted fabric button detailing, creating a statement piece that is perfect for sitting up in bed. Headboard front panel with the design is 32"/86cm in height. The base measures 34.5cm in height with gliders attached (30.5cm without) and is available in all standard UK sizes 2FT. 6 Small Single, 3FT Single, 4FT Small Double, 4FT. 6 Double, 5FT King, and 6FT Super King. Choose from practical storage options including No Drawers, 2 Drawers (same side), or 4 Drawers, making this velvet divan bed with headboard both stylish and functional. An excellent space saving storage bed. Drawers can be placed left or right side as the headboard fits either end of the base.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
