The matching upholstered 54"/137cm Chesterfield headboard features deep cushioned panels with hand-tufted fabric button detailing, creating a statement piece that is perfect for sitting up in bed. Headboard front panel with the design is 32"/86cm in height. Choose from practical storage options including No Drawers, 2 Drawers (same side), or 4 Drawers, making this velvet divan bed with headboard both stylish and functional. Our Stylist Says
I love this velvet divan bed base for its blend of luxe texture and practical design, making it a versatile choice for diverse interiors. The silver finish adds a contemporary touch that works well in both modern and transitional schemes, especially when paired with soft, neutral tones or plush textiles. The 54" floor-standing headboard not only provides extra visual height but also creates a cosy, supportive backdrop for relaxing or reading. Practical tips include styling around the drawers with contemporary bedside tables or layered bedding for a polished look. It’s perfect for maximising storage in bedrooms where space is a premium, and the elegant velvet finish helps soften the overall aesthetic, giving the room a sophisticated feel.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
