Our Stylist Says
I love this Chesterfield linen divan bed base because its timeless design adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any bedroom. The sage colour offers versatility, working well in both contemporary and classic interiors, especially when paired with soft, neutral bedding and accent cushions. The 54" floor-standing headboard makes a bold statement without overwhelming the space, making it ideal for smaller rooms or apartments where vertical impact matters. For styling tips, consider layering with textured throws or adding statement lighting to highlight the linen fabric and the tufted detail. Practical and stylish, it’s perfect for creating a restful yet refined bedroom environment.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
