Description

Modern accent lighting design for your home with the Cherry Ceramic Table Lamp. This table light features a ceramic vase-shaped base with a gorgeously artistic ombre brush stroke design from dark to light grey. It also comes in a darker grey linen shade which diffuses a warm glow into any room for an ambient appearance, looking ideal when styled on any sideboard, table, or desk.

Our Stylist Says

This table lamp’s grey ombre ceramic base paired with a matching shade makes it a versatile choice for contemporary or minimalist interiors. I love how its subtle colour transition adds visual interest without overpowering the space. It works particularly well in neutral-toned lounges, bedrooms, or home offices, where it can provide gentle task lighting and complement other muted colour schemes. For styling, consider placing it on a bedside table or sideboard, and team with simple textiles or metallic accents to enhance its understated elegance. Its clean silhouette makes it a practical yet stylish addition that can adapt to different interior styles with ease.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
