Description

Practicality and chic looks marry gorgeously with the super-soft Chenille Throw. The 152 x 127 cm size of this throw blanket is great for keeping you warm as you relax through cool autumn evenings. This fringed blanket comes in various colours that can match any theme or style.

Our Stylist Says

I love this navy chenille throw for its timeless colour and soft, plush texture, making it perfect for adding comfort to both contemporary and traditional interiors. It works particularly well layered over neutral sofa upholstery or draped across the foot of a bed to introduce a cosy, tactile element. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with light-coloured cushions or accents to create contrast, or keep it as a statement piece for a rich, monochromatic look. Its practical warmth and versatile colour make it a great all-year-round choice, easy to incorporate into Living rooms or bedrooms for instant cosy appeal.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
