Description

Practicality and chic looks marry gorgeously with the super-soft Chenille Throw. The 152 x 127 cm size of this throw blanket is great for keeping you warm as you relax through cool autumn evenings. This fringed blanket comes in various colours that can match any theme or style.

Our Stylist Says

I love the cosy, versatile vibe that the Chenille Throw in charcoal brings to any space. Its neutral hue pairs beautifully with both modern and classic interiors, making it a fail-safe layering piece on beds, sofas, or armchairs. The plush texture adds a sense of comfort and warmth without feeling overly indulgent, perfect for chilly evenings. For styling tips, drape it casually over the end of a bed or fold it neatly across a sofa arm to keep it accessible. Pair it with other tactile or contrasting textiles, like linen or velvet, to create a relaxed, inviting look without clutter. Its understated colour and soft texture make it a practical yet stylish addition to a range of interiors.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
