Price History
Description
The Ontario riser recliner is designed to provide supportive, everyday comfort with added assistance when sitting down or standing up. Upholstered in elegant grey chenille, it suits both modern and traditional living rooms, while the generously padded back, seat, and arms create a relaxed, cushioned feel. This powered lift up recliner is operated using a simple handheld remote, allowing you to smoothly adjust both the reclining position and the lift function. The chair can gently tilt forward to help you transition to a standing position, or lower you back down in a controlled, steady motion. It’s a practical solution for anyone who finds getting in and out of a standard seat more difficult, while still offering the comfort of a familiar armchair. As a riser recliner, it also functions as a full recliner for everyday use. The padded armrests and supportive back cushioning help maintain comfort over longer periods of sitting. With its combination of assistive function and classic design, the Ontario offers a comfortable place to relax while making daily movement that bit easier and more manageable. About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
