Inspired by traditional school lockers our Chedworth shoe locker will add a vintage touch to your home. Crafted from fir wood with a grey water stain finish, this storage unit features eight handy cubbyholes and doubles up as a useful bench, perfect for your hallway.

Our Stylist Says

I love this shoe locker for its versatile, rustic aesthetic that works beautifully in both traditional and modern interiors. Its natural wood finish adds warmth and character, making it a practical yet stylish storage solution for an entrance hall or mudroom. The multiple compartments neatly organise shoes, which helps keep cosy spaces clutter-free while making footwear easily accessible. For styling tips, consider pairing it with a textured rug and some decorative baskets or plants to create an inviting, functional entryway. It’s ideal in homes that favour a relaxed, lived-in look or a farmhouse-inspired scheme, adding practicality without compromising on charm.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
