I’m a fan of this redwood square table for its clean lines, robust build and all-weather performance - it seats six to eight comfortably without looking bulky. The warm tones work equally well in contemporary, Scandinavian or rustic settings, and the simple silhouette makes it a versatile backdrop for both pared-back monochrome place settings and bolder, colourful ceramics.
Styling-wise, layer with a flat-weave outdoor rug to define your dining zone, then add seat pads or cushions in muted greys or deep navy for comfort and contrast. A low, central planter of succulents or a cluster of lanterns will draw the eye without impeding conversation, while mixing in slatted or metal chairs can introduce interesting textures against the smooth redwood. Finish with an annual oil treatment to keep the wood in top condition.
