Description

In Collaboration with the Natural History Museum. The Charlbury Wing Chair is finished in a stunning Arboretum Print, inspired by the leafy wonderlands of the UK’s woodlands during the beautiful autumn season. The timeless wingback silhouette of this armchair and elegant wood legs provide a classic look that suits any home. This armchair can be purchased with a matching footstool for a coordinated look and even greater comfort. Made from responsibly sourced timber and recycled materials, you can relax the night away in style and with good conscience. Natural History Museum x Dunelm. The Charlbury Wing Chair is part of the Woodlands collection. Autumn is a truly majestic time, whether foraging for conkers or feeling the crunch of newly fallen leaves underfoot, woodlands are a wonderful place to connect with nature. The UK’s woodlands are rich and diverse supporting an incredible array of wildlife from woodland flowers to birds and butterflies. These leafy wonderlands not only provide homes for wildlife but they are also an important tool in the fight against climate change. They are hugely effective in soaking up carbon from the atmosphere and provide a natural solution to the climate crisis. Through our collection with the Natural History Museum, we want to celebrate the UK’s incredible woodland habitats and highlight the need to protect them for future generations to enjoy. © The Trustees of the Natural History Museum, London 2022. Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this wing chair in marsh-green botanical print for its blend of classic shape and modern pattern. The deep seat and high back suit both period properties and more pared-back, contemporary schemes. To style it, pair with a natural-fibre rug and a mix of terracotta or ochre cushions to lift the green tones. A slim brass-framed side table and warm brass lamp will add contrast, while a simple linen throw brings extra texture without competing with the print.
