This super-fun banana side table (yes, you read that right) is a genius work of art that falls firmly into Team Bonkers. If you like your interior design quirky, with a dash of kitsch, then this is the piece for you. The peeled banana is picked out in shining golden gilt, while the charcoal grey peel falls away to create a sturdy base for the table to rest on. A smoked glass tabletop rests on top of the peeled banana, attached with a silver disc, making the perfect perch for your tea, coffee, glass of wine or cocktail. Alternatively, style with verdant greenery or a pretty vase of beautiful blooms to really make a talking point of this piece (although it doesn’t need much of a helping hand, we must admit...) This truly is the antidote to boring and bland, and brings to mind the (organised) chaos and clashing colours of a maximalist-themed home. Back in 2007, on a not-so-sunny Lanzarote vacation, Lucy and Jane had a bright idea by the pool. Both loved old markets and changing up their homes, so they thought, "Why not create an online store for unique home items?"
